Homemade Fertilizer for Christmas Cactus
- Squeeze the juice from an orange and dip a cotton swab in it.
- Gently rub the Q-tip over the top of the stems where the flowers will form.
- Pour the remaining orange juice over the plant as a natural fertilizer.
- After applying the orange juice, water the cactus once a week and place it in a bright place where the temperature does not exceed 20°C.
- After 3 to 4 weeks, you should see the Christmas cactus begin to bloom again and regain its beauty.
Fertilization with Activated Charcoal and Aspirin
- Crush one or two activated carbon tablets and spread the powder evenly over the surface of the substrate.
- With a toothpick, make small excavations so that the charcoal is slightly incorporated into the soil.
- Crush an aspirin tablet and dissolve it in 1 liter of water.
- Water the plant with this solution or use a sprayer to apply it to the leaves as well.
- You can store the solution in the refrigerator for several days and apply it periodically.
