- You will need a large plastic bottle. The larger it is, the more days you can leave your plants without watering.
- Make a mark about 15 cm from the bottom and 10 cm from the neck of the bottle with a marker.
- Make a small hole just below the mark, about 3 inches from the bottom, using a hole punch or heated wire.
- Fill the bottle with water to the beginning of the line drawn previously and close it with the lid.
- Bury the bottle near the plant, leaving the hole facing the plant and covering it with soil up to the starting point of the line.
- Open the cap and fill the bottle completely, then close it again.
The water will come out of the bottle drop by drop according to the plant’s needs or when the soil is dry, ensuring that your plants are always watered without the need to water them every day. This method is especially useful for vegetables planted in the garden.
