1.Select a healthy leaf:
Choose a mature, disease-free aloe vera leaf to cut.
2.Prepare the leaf cutting:
Use a clean knife or scissors to cut the leaf near the base.
3.Optional: Let the cutting dry:
If desired, allow the cut end to dry and form calluses for a day.
4.Prepare the pot:
Fill a pot with a well-draining planting medium, such as a cactus or succulent mix.
5.Plant the cutting:
Insert the cut end of the leaf into the planting medium, 1-2 inches deep.
6.Water gently:
Gently water the planting medium to settle it around the cutting.
7.Place in indirect light:
Place the pot in a location with bright, but indirect sunlight.
8.Wait for the roots to develop:
Be patient as the roots develop for a few weeks to months.
9.Water in moderation:
Water sparingly, allowing the top one inch of soil to dry out between waterings.
10.Transplant if necessary:
Transfer to a larger pot or garden as the plant grows.
11.Provide regular care:
Continue with proper care in terms of light, watering and occasional feeding.
