A flower garden or balcony is the desire of many, even those who do not have a green thumb. Still, it is not difficult to achieve it.

Flower garden, a dream come true

Looking at a flower garden or a plant with beautiful, lush and colourful flowers can be a real feast for the eyes. However, this is not always possible. Plants on the balcony may not tolerate the exposure they are subjected to, those in the garden suffer from too little fertiliser in the soil.

During and after the pandemic, more and more people have understood the importance of  taking care of a little green corner  at home, in the living room or, for the luckiest, in the garden or on the terrace. If this space flourished, even better. In fact, it has been shown that taking care of seedlings can be therapeutic for the mind and relieve stress.

There are many products to take care of your green space in bloom. Some, however, could harm not only the environment but also those around us. Below, we tell you a method to get a flower garden without resorting to expensive chemical products.

The ingredient to use

You’ll never guess that the ingredient that can make your garden flourish is baking soda. Yes, you read that right. It’s an easy ingredient to find, as well as very inexpensive. Baking soda  is  a very valid ingredient to use both in the kitchen, for various preparations, and for cleaning. Known for its bleaching, absorbent and anti-odor properties, baking soda is also an excellent antiparasitic and antifungal, so it can be used with plants.

One teaspoon will suffice. However, for it to be effective, the teaspoon of baking soda must  be mixed with the juice of a whole tangerine  . Squeeze the tangerine into a bowl, add the tablespoon of baking soda and mix well.

For each plant you want to see bloom, proceed as follows: put  three teaspoons of baking soda  in a bowl. Press the tangerine well and combine its juice with baking soda. At this point, add a liter of water at room temperature and continue mixing. This liquid will serve to water the plants in your house, terrace or garden and will allow you to obtain lush flowers never seen before. The mixture should be placed directly under the roots,  one glass, once every thirty days  .

The effect this liquid will have on your flower garden is to keep pests away while protecting the soil. Once you try  this method,  you will always use it for your flower garden and plants.
