The use of fertilizers is essential for the growth and development of tomatoes. Good nutrition makes the fruits tasty and juicy. There are many ready-made drugs on store shelves, but I have something better for you!
Fertilizers are essential to maintain high crop yields. They supply the soil with nutrients and make the plants strong and vital. Fertilizers in liquid form are absorbed more quickly.

Natural fertilizer for tomatoes
To prepare the natural fertilizer we need 1 tablespoon of cloves, the peel of one onion, 300 ml of water and the contents of 2 black tea bags. Instead of regular tea, you can also use coffee grounds; they contain potassium, magnesium, nitrogen, manganese, phosphorus and other trace elements necessary for garden plants.
Step-by-step process:
1. Put the ingredients in a pot and fill it with water.
2. Place the pan on the gas and cook the contents for 10-15 minutes.
3. Then strain through cheesecloth.
Dilute the fertilizer with water before watering the tomatoes. To 100 ml of solution you need to add 3 liters of water. Water the tomatoes once every 25-30 days.

Fertilizer for tomatoes from ash and nettles
I would like to introduce you to another effective “grandmother’s” method.
Pour the water into a 10-liter pot. Add 500 g of ash – it should be pure wood ash. Then add a handful of onion skins with several bunches of nettles (without roots) to the pan. Boil all the ingredients for 15 minutes. Leave it overnight and in the morning you can filter the mixture and pour it over the tomatoes.
