However, it really promises maximum yields in a small area. It is important to focus on  the correct frequency and optimal amount of aspirin used  . Otherwise, you could accidentally damage your burs. This fertilization can be used for both the classic large-fruited strawberry (  Fragaria ananassa  ) and the common strawberry (  Fragaria vesca  ).

Why use aspirin for strawberries?

Aspirin has been used for many years to increase the yield of vegetables and  fruits  . Its composition takes care of its effectiveness. You may not know it, but many plants produce salicylic acid when they are sick or in danger.  They thus strengthen your immune system.  In one go, this acid also improves seed germination. It will be much better if you dissolve one tablet in 125 ml of water and  then boil this liquid for about 30 minutes  (of course, adjust the amount according to how many plants you plan to fertilize). You can water your strawberries with this fertilizer. But it will work much better if you enhance it further and provide it with additional effective ingredients.

And how to do that? Add three drops of ammonia to the cooled solution and finally dilute the resulting solution with four liters of water. The effectiveness of this fertilization is high because plants love salicylic acid. And  ammonia will help disinfect the soil around the strawberries  , which will reliably destroy all pest and disease germs. This feature will also be useful when growing strawberries where diseases or pests have already occurred.

But these are not all the effects of aspirin that will help you grow strawberries. This drug can also scare away many pests, especially slugs, which can reliably destroy the entire crop.  But it is also a prevention against fungal diseases.  Therefore, you can use aspirin not only as a fertilizer, but also as protection for strawberries when they are forced to bloom and ripen in a very rainy summer.

Fertilize seedlings a little differently.

Do you need to feed   newly planted strawberries ? Next, you will need to change the ratio of aspirin to water a little. It is enough if you dissolve two aspirin tablets in a liter of water and then use them as a dressing.  Two spoons are enough for each seedling  ; This solution does not need to be diluted further. Fertilize the seedlings again after four weeks. Otherwise, it is enough to use aspirin fertilization only once a season, it is really very effective.
