The recipe is simple and the dough is fabulous! These sweet apple and cinnamon buns are soft and fluffy. To make pies with apples, knead the yeast dough for the buns and prepare the apples, then bake the buns in the oven and serve homemade buns for tea.

Ingredients:

Dough:

flour – 470-500 g
warm milk – 250 ml
salt – 0.5 tsp
vegetable oil – 30 ml
butter – 40 g
dry yeast – 7 g
egg – 1 pc
sugar – 70 g

Filling:

apples – 5 pcs
sugar – 1 tbsp
cinnamon – 1 tsp
butter – 20 g
powdered sugar

Cooking method:

Let’s prepare the dough, pour warm milk into a deep bowl, add one tablespoon of sugar from the total mass, dry yeast, mix and leave for  10-15 minutes .

Beat an egg into the suitable dough, pour in vegetable oil, add sugar, salt, mix.

In several stages, add flour and knead the soft dough, at the very end add melted butter and knead the dough for  10 minutes .

Cover the dough with cling film and leave the dough to rise for  1 hour .
While the dough is standing, prepare the filling,  peel 5 apples and cut into small cubes

Pour chopped apples into a frying pan, add cinnamon, sugar if desired and add  20 grams  of butter, stir and place on medium heat, fry for  5 minutes .

Lightly knead the risen dough and divide it into 13 equal parts (each piece is approximately  70 grams ).

Gather each piece into a ball and roll out into an oval shape, place the apple filling on one half of the dough, cover with the dough and pinch the edges.

Roll the workpiece a little and give the bun a horseshoe shape.

We transfer the blanks to a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, cover with a towel and leave to rise for  10-15 minutes .

Grease the buns with beaten yolk and water and place in a preheated oven at  180 degrees  and bake  for 20 minutes .

Sprinkle the finished buns with powdered sugar and serve with tea. Bon appetit!!!
