How to remove dark, embedded dirt from kitchen stoves with 4 spoons

Let’s face it, when we cook, we mainly clean the hob, but often we completely forget about its components!

An error that can happen many times, but it is important to also give the   kitchen fires and dishes a good cleaning  . These are the materials on which   rust can form  most easily and then it will be increasingly difficult to remove it!

These components are also called   countertop burners  or   flame diffusers  . Either way, you know what I’m talking about. Let’s see   how to clean the burners and plates in the kitchen  !

Immerse

The first step is to remove the elements from the plate and   soak them  . Staying in the water will make the next step easier!

vinegar and water

You can clean stoves and pots with the help of the  cleaning action of vinegar  , which is often used in the kitchen, but generally throughout the house!

Heat   300 ml of water   and   700 ml of vinegar on the stove  , when the mixture begins to boil, turn off the heat, then immerse the plates and burners and let them soak.

When the water has cooled, remove them from the mixture and, if necessary, sponge them to remove any remaining scale. After this step, dry.

Bicarbonate

Another cleaning ally is undoubtedly   baking soda  ! How many times do we use it in the kitchen to clean various pieces?

We can also use it for campfires and dishes, here’s how:   Heat a pot of water   and bring it to a boil. Then add  4 tablespoons of baking soda  and let it dissolve.

Immerse the objects and leave them for a few hours. This operation   will make the inlay smoother   and it will be easier to remove later!

Citric acid

Citric acid  is becoming more and more widespread in cleaning and especially in the washing machine to do laundry, let’s see how to use it in this case!

Prepare a solution with   150 grams of citric acid   and   1 liter of boiling water  , pour the burners and plates and leave to soak for about an hour.

Later, if the incrustation has disappeared, dry them well with a cotton cloth.

fine salt

The last solution is   fine salt  . Its abrasive action can   remove stubborn scale   and help you make clay fires and pigeons like new again!

The procedure, also in this case, is always the same: bring a saucepan   with water and three tablespoons of salt   until it boils, let the components soak for at least an hour.

If you want to enhance the cleaning action, I recommend adding   half a glass of wine vinegar to the water   .

For stubborn dirt

In some cases, the methods indicated above may be sufficient to remove all the dirt, but   when the scale is strong  , then   the most resistant dirt must be removed  .

So, after turning on the heat and soaking the pigeons, equip yourself with a   non-abrasive sponge   and rub vigorously until everything is removed.

Then rinse and dry each part very well because the remaining water will create rust.

Do you want a homemade detergent to degrease?   There is:

Ingredients:

  • Baking soda (one teaspoon)
  • Marseille soap (1/3 of a regular bar of soap)
  • Water (400ml)

Melt the soap in a water bath and mix it with the baking soda, add the water, pour the entire mixture into a bottle. Shake well and you will have obtained your natural detergent to clean the stoves and pots, but also all the dishes!

Warnings

The natural remedies proposed are especially indicated for fires and pigeon, however it is advisable to check the material before proceeding to wash.
