Propagate Sansevieria is very simple. You can do this in two different ways.

If your desire is to have many specimens of your plants or you want to give them to someone,  propagation  is the method for you.

By propagation, in fact, the aim is to produce other plants from the existing ones.

Let’s see how to do it specifically for  Sansevieria .

Cutting

1. First, cut a leaf from the plant you intend to propagate into several pieces.
2. Place the pieces in a pot with soil, falling deeply on the side where the cut was made.
3. Water, then place the pot in a dark area.
4. After about 35 days, gently pull the leaves out of the soil. You will notice that small roots have grown.
5. Now you will have to replant them in the pot of your choice and care for them normally.

Leaves

1. Since Sansevieria grows by developing different branches, you can use them to propagate it.
2. Choose the branch you intend to take and free it from the soil that houses it, being careful not to damage its roots.
3. Then transfer it to a new container with suitable soil.
4. Water until the soil is well moistened.
