If they must be used for growing tomatoes, it is advisable to prepare a decoction.  Boil the onion skins and then let them cool in a cool place for 2 days. Finally filter and dilute the decoction with water, making sure to use one part of the decoction and three of water. Now you can pour the mixture obtained into the soil immediately next to the tomato plant.

You can do the same procedure to grow cucumbers,  which must be watered with 3 liters of this compound for each square meter.   In addition to this use, the compound  can be sprayed on the leaves of plants  to  combat possible fungal diseases.

Another use for onion peels is to spray the compound on infested plants  . Prepare the product by boiling two buckets of water and one bucket of onion skins. If you can get them, add a few pieces of potassium-based horticultural soap as well. Finally, strain and pour into a spray bottle.
