To double your cucumber harvest, you must use this ingredient: never plant without it. Below we see all the details.

Cucumber is a vegetable plant used in cooking and can be easily grown in your own garden. In fact, it is an unpretentious plant that is quite simple to grow. There are no special soil and care needs, but ideally you will need fertile soil and fertilizers.
The cucumber plant grows very quickly and develops just as quickly. You have to place it in a sunny place and if it lasts, you can already get the first harvest after about 40 days . So if the summer is long, they can be planted several times during the season.

However, before you choose seeds for sowing, pay attention to which variety of cucumbers you choose. There are the self-pollinated hybrid cucumbers or the parthenocarpic cucumbers. Or even self-pollinating by bees, which produce more fruit when planted in the ground rather than a greenhouse. But never plant cucumbers without this ingredient that we see below.
Never plant cucumbers without this – the harvest will be much larger
To plant cucumbers you have to wait until the temperatures rise. If it is more than 20°C during the day and more than 15°C at night, this may be the right time. At the time of sowing the soil must be warm, at least 18°C. Then you can go ahead and buy the variety that suits you.
The first step is to germinate the seeds . Then take a container and place the toilet paper in it folded in about 2 or 3 layers. We moisten the paper, but not just with water. In fact, the ingredient that you must use before planting the cucumbers must be added now, and that is glucose powder.

Glucose powder, which is used for sweets, can be found in well-stocked supermarkets or online. It is necessary to dilute 0.5 grams of glucose in 1 liter of water. Glucose activates growth processes and gives plants energy for germination and development .
Then add vitamin C for plants to the water with the glucose (it is also available under the name ascorbic acid). Here you need less, just 0.1 grams. This instead serves to increase immunity and resistance to stress. Then moisten the toilet paper and then spread the seeds on the paper. Close with a lid or bag to create a greenhouse effect. Place in a warm place and wait 4 days.
Transition from seed to soil
Once the time has passed, pick up the newly created small greenhouse and there should be some sprouts. Thanks to vitamins and glucose, all sprouts grow out and have strong and developed roots. Before planting them in pots, it is best to wait until the stem has reached a growth stage of about 5 centimeters .
You can then transfer the sprouts individually into pots with soil . Add soil and drill a hole to insert the roots without damaging them. Remember not to pull out the roots, but to place them in the soil with a piece of paper attached.

Now that the sprouts are in the jar and the roots are covered by soil, pour in a few drops of the fertilizer you used previously. Place them on a sunny windowsill and wait until the stem is about 1/2 inch in diameter and there are several leaves .
Prepare the soil by digging a hole about 20 centimeters in size and adding some wood ash to the soil . This is rich in potassium, phosphorus, calcium, iron and more. All you need is a spoonful, which you then mix with the soil. Sprinkle more soil and add more organic material. Then you can plant a cucumber plant.
Remove the glass by cutting and then cover it with soil until it is completely covered. Now you can start using other fertilizers and choose the one you prefer. Many are made from natural ingredients and are really good. Wait a while and you will see how many cucumbers will grow .
