Creating a paste made of baking soda and water will serve this purpose. Once prepared, you will simply have to spread it over the toilet, on the offending strip, and  let it sit for about 30 minutes.

• Citric acid

• Microfiber cloth and vinegar

This is  a trick  adopted by people who are in a bit of a hurry, but still want to achieve the desired effect and remove the black strip around the toilet in the blink of an eye.

First we will have to get a microfiber cloth, and after  soaking it in white vinegar  , wrap it around the base of the toilet.
