Pothos   is undoubtedly one of the most well-known and appreciated indoor plants in the world . What makes it so captivating, in addition to its intense green color and tropical shapes, is also its extraordinary resistance.

This wonderful plant has  heart-shaped leaves  that make it unmistakable, and as it is a climbing plant, it can be placed practically anywhere: it will adapt to any situation.

In addition to its beauty, the most fascinating thing about this plant is the ease with which it can be reproduced, even from  a single leaf  .

To  reproduce pothos  you need, in addition to the plant, some pruning shears, a glass vase and filtered water.

Start by cutting a small stem from your pothos plant. Do it diagonally and immediately after a knot. If possible, cut two leaves to simplify the reproduction process.

If one of the leaves is close to the node, we suggest you remove it, otherwise it will rot when you put it in water.

Fill the glass jar halfway with water, then place our cutting in it. Don’t forget to change the water at least 2 times a week.

When the first roots form, the plant will be ready to be planted in the ground.

Basic Pothos Care

• Pothos does not need a lot of water. Water it twice a week, making sure not to create waterlogging. The pot must be well drained.
• Do not expose the plant to direct sunlight, as this could burn the leaves. The plant needs light, but indirect.
• Wipe the pothos leaves occasionally with a damp cotton ball. Removing dust from the surface of the leaves will promote photosynthesis.
