Limestone is composed of calcium carbonate, an alkaline compound, for which an acid is needed to dissolve and eliminate it. Vinegar, for example, is a very useful product in this sense.

The acids in both ingredients dissolve stains and limescale deposits in the toilet, also eliminating odor-causing microorganisms.

Mix 100 ml of vinegar with the juice of one lemon and spray it on the surface of the toilet. Wait 30 minutes, then flush the toilet and use a damp cloth to clean the outside surfaces of the toilet.

Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide

The combination of these two ingredients has the particularity of whitening surfaces, making it perfect for darker limestones. In addition, it has a disinfectant effect.

Mix 80 grams of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide and use a sponge to rub the solution into the surfaces.

After 30 minutes, rinse with plenty of water and that’s it,  a very clean and scented bathroom  ..
