In stores you can find sprays made of strong chemicals that kill mold, but the chemicals are not good for your health, especially if you have respiratory problems.

Mold fungi’s greatest “friend” is a moist, warm place, as mold is able to reproduce and expand better in such conditions. As a rule, in the bathroom, the wall becomes moldy at the corners. In addition to a moist environment, molds also need food and a suitable area to grow.

It is necessary to eliminate mold because the spores of the fungus spread through the air, so they can easily enter the lungs, where they can cause illness.

Whether mold spores can cause asthma or “only” intensify the symptoms of existing asthma is still a matter of debate.

Let’s see what we will need:

• 2 teaspoons tea tree oil
• 2 cups of water
• for a cotton textile material
• on an empty spray bottle

Preparation:

1.  Mix two teaspoons of tea tree oil in two cups of water, then pour it into the spray bottle. Shake it.

2.  Spray moldy surfaces with this mixture and let it sit for a few hours.

3.  Remove the loose mold at the end with a cotton cloth. It is worth wearing a protective mask.
