How to keep lemons fresh for a month?

Most of our readers consume lemons weekly, and surely there are those who buy them and then forget about them, and after a week they dry up completely and we can no longer use them.

There are many people who store lemons outside at room temperature, display them in fruit bowls, because they are beautiful and even fill the air with a fresh lemon scent. This may be true, but if we want these yellow Southern fruits, rich in vitamin C, to stay fresh, we should put them in the refrigerator instead.

A simple idea, right?

If we keep lemons on the kitchen table for, say, seven days, they dry out so much that we can hardly use them at all. Let’s not forget that we can add freshly squeezed lemon juice to our evening tea.

Therefore, to preserve their freshness and rich juice content for a long time, get an airtight bag, put the fruits in it, and then they can put them in the refrigerator. Problem solved!
