with banana peel
Being an ingredient rich in potassium and calcium, it will work very well as a fertilizer. After chopping the banana, all you have to do is take a mason jar and dip the banana peel into it. Let it rest for 24 hours in the jar and mix for a few seconds the next day. We can now use this mixture to spray the soil on our succulent plants and see them return to being as lush and green as before.
With Marseille soap
With Marseille soap you can make two easy, effective and economical anti-cochineal preparations. The first can be prepared by mixing 20g of Marseille soap, 20g of ethyl alcohol at 90º and half a litre of hot water. We mix well making sure the soap dissolves well and then spray the plant, spraying especially on the affected leaves. The second preparation can be made by mixing 20g of Marseille soap, 20g of sunflower seed oil with half a litre of hot water. Also in this case we can mix and then let cool. We transfer to a spray container and use it to spray it directly onto the affected leaves. We repeat the treatment every 3-4 days until the white spots have completely disappeared.
