Calluses are a very common problem, sometimes difficult to get rid of. It consists of the thickening of the skin, a natural reaction that is triggered when the affected area receives constant pressure or rubbing, almost always from footwear.
Although not painful, calluses can be very annoying. In this article we suggest an excellent natural remedy, based on baking soda, which in addition to helping us eliminate calluses allows us to get rid of nail fungus and calluses.
To put the remedy into practice you need: a basin of water, 3 tablespoons of baking soda, 1 liter of hot water, humectant cream and a few drops of lavender oil (or another essential oil of your choice).
Pour hot water and baking soda into the basin and soak your feet in it, after washing with soap and water to remove dirt. Add the essential oil a minute before soaking your feet.
Wait about 15-20 minutes, then remove your feet and rub a pumice stone over the calluses.
After drying your feet thoroughly, apply a humectant cream. Repeat the treatment two to three times a week.
