Don’t ignore THIS part of the nettle: It’s growing right now and it’s amazing what it can do – more power than the young leaves!

Many only use nettle when it is a young plant in the spring.

We dry the leaves or use them fresh to make tea or strong detoxifying treatments.

How to collect and use?

To begin with, it should be said that we collect the female seeds – they are very useful and you can recognize them by the fact that they hang down.

The ones that stick out to the side – these are the males, they have these tiny balls.

They are also edible, but have a grassy taste and are not as beneficial.

The seeds can be easily collected and consumed directly from the plant.

Proceed as follows: crush the seeds in your palms to release the seeds, more sensitive people may experience a slight sting.

Therefore, it is better to consume them dried.

2 ways (drying):

We dry the entire stem with leaves and seeds.

After drying, we simply take everything out, crush it carefully, and store it.

From the fresh plant, I cut out with scissors (with gloves of course :)) only the seeds, which we dry on baking paper.

Then we sift it through a sieve and store it.

Stronger immunity for the whole family

We use them by simply pouring them into food.

It’s even better to cover them with honey and take a teaspoon every day.

They can also be added to various salads or high-quality alcohol, thanks to which we get a strong tincture for health.
