Flush toxins from the lymph with these methods

Use these daily techniques to help your lymph release toxins

The lymphatic system is an important system in the body that consists of fluids and tissues that flow through the body.

Unlike the circulatory system, the lymphatic system does not have the help of the heart to move fluids.

This is why it’s important to make sure you’re helping your lymphatic system.

Ways you can help your lymphatic system release toxins:

Eat raw  fruits

Eating raw fruit on an empty stomach is one of the easiest and tastiest ways to stimulate detoxification, as you prevent acids and enzymes from affecting your body.

Lemon, lime, and grapefruit are some of the best options, so feel free to add a few slices to your morning water.

Drink water

The body needs a lot of water to filter the lymphatic system and remove all toxins and chemicals.

It is recommended to drink water throughout the day to keep the body properly hydrated.

Massage

Massage, especially deep tissue massage, helps move lymphatic tissue into the drainage by compressing the lymphatic system to wash away all the dirt and make room for beneficial nutrients.

Skin cleansing

Skin brushing is a simple method that can be done by combing the body and massaging the body towards the heart.

It helps exfoliate the skin, remove dead cells and stimulate the lymphatic system.

Hot and cold showers

This change in temperature helps the lymphatic system work more efficiently. Also, a contrast shower stimulates blood circulation by dilating blood vessels.

Exercise

It doesn’t matter if it’s a short walk or vigorous exercise on a daily basis. In fact, any form of physical activity stimulates the lymphatic system.

Laughter

Laughter forces you to take deep breaths, which in turn activates your blood circulation and lungs so they can work in synergy with the lymphatic system.

Jump on a homemade trampoline

Fact:   using a small trampoline is one of the most effective ways to reduce lymphatic congestion, stimulate lymph flow, and exercise every cell in the body.

The gravitational pull caused by bouncing causes one-way lymphatic valves to open and close, moving the lymph.

Tip: start very slowly, many of you may feel dizzy, be patient with your body until it gets used to this type of exercise.

Start with no more than 15-30 seconds the first day and very slowly and gradually, following your own body’s signals, increase until you reach a practice of 5-15 minutes per day.

Start slowly bouncing up and down without letting your feet leave the trampoline. Slowly increasing your bounce time is important because you can release too many toxins at once, which can cause discomfort.

Exercise ball jumps

Fact: if you don’t have a trampoline or feel that it’s not right for you, you can use the same gravitational principle by using a cheap exercise ball or yoga ball.

Tip: always start with a very short time for jumps and simple, gentle movements.

Even small movements for short periods of time can be very effective in moving lymph. Build up the intensity of the exercise slowly.

Stretch or practice yoga daily

Fact: Stretching and yoga poses are particularly effective for moving lymph.

Tip: holding certain asanas combined with conscious deep breathing can help direct lymph through the deep channels of the chest.

Do a lymphatic massage

Fact: lymphatic massage reduces swelling, aids in detoxification of the body, and helps in the rapid regeneration of tissues and cells.

You can go for a full body massage or focus on target areas.

For example, stagnation of lymphatic fluid in the head can manifest as a feeling of pressure in the head or ears, sinus congestion, dizziness, lightheadedness, even insomnia.

This is a great technique for cold and allergy season.

Tip: schedule a lymphatic massage with a professional therapist or do your own self-massage.

Infrared sauna

Fact: It provides a gentle, effective detoxification mechanism without side effects. The waves of this type of sauna penetrate deep into the human body, increasing the surface temperature of the body, activating circulation, sweating, and the release of toxins from the lymph and blood through the skin.

Heat also increases heart rate and encourages deeper breathing, which further enhances the drainage process.

Tip: if you have access to an infrared sauna, take advantage of this effective lymphatic activator.

Regarding monitoring your body’s reactions on your first visit to see how it affects you. There are people who don’t tolerate saunas, and if you’re one of them, choose a different technique.

Choose natural fabrics for your clothes and, if possible, avoid clothing that is too tight or absorbent.

Fact: The chemicals in synthetic clothing (made from petrochemicals) are absorbed through the skin, taken up by the lymphatic system, and add to the body’s burden of toxins.

Tight and tight clothing can also contribute to a host of problems, including lymph congestion.

Tip: wear comfortable clothes made from natural fibers, such as cotton, silk, linen, wool, or other natural fibers.

Think about your underwear

Fact: The breast, arm, and upper chest are drained by a large cluster of lymph nodes located in the armpit.

A bra that leaves red marks or indentations constricts lymphatic circulation and can contribute to swollen lymph nodes, fibrocystic breast tissue, and breast cancer.

In men, tight pants or underwear can inhibit lymph flow in the testicular area, causing toxic buildup that can lead to infertility and a greater chance of developing cancer.

Tip: Avoid underwired bras or bras that squeeze. Buy bras made from natural fibers and go braless whenever possible.

As a general rule, choose pants and underwear made from natural fibers.

Cosmetics and skin care products

Fact: your skin is the largest cleansing and receiving organ – what you absorb into your skin goes into your body, into your lymph, and adds to your toxic load.

Tip: avoid products that include synthetic preservatives, fragrances, foaming agents, and other harmful synthetic chemicals.

Instead, look for cosmetics and skin care products that use safe, plant-based or nutritional ingredients, as these will ultimately be absorbed through your skin and processed by your lymph.

Eat whole foods, especially healthy fats, fruits, and vegetables.

Fact: Consuming processed foods, fast foods, sugary drinks, unhealthy fats, refined flour, and sugar can cause inflammation and create congestion in the lymphatic system.

Tip: Eat more fruits and vegetables, especially green vegetables. Chlorophyll purifies the lymph and blood.

Eat healthy organic fats like nuts and seeds, avocados, olive oil, coconut oil, ghee, and quality butter.

Drink herbal teas that affect lymph

Fact: There are herbal teas that enhance lymphatic action, such as red clover, astragalus, fenugreek, ginger, wild indigo root, olive leaf tea, and others.

Tip: Try incorporating one of these teas, or a combination of several, into your daily routine. Teas are most effective if you drink several cups throughout the day.

Note: if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medication, consult your doctor or therapist before drinking these teas.
