Grandma’s recipe for making homemade soap

Homemade vinegar and baking soda
soap Ingredients:
1 liter of hot
water 1 cup of white
vinegar 1/2 cup of baking soda
100 g of grated neutral soap (can be glycerin or any unscented soap)
10 drops of essential oil (optional, for flavoring)
Instructions:

Grate the soap: Grate the neutral soap with a fine grater to facilitate its dissolution.
Heat the water: Heat the water in a large pot, but without letting it boil.
Dissolve the soap: Add the grated soap to the hot water and stir constantly until completely dissolved. This may take a few minutes.
Add the vinegar: Once the soap is completely dissolved, pour the cup of white vinegar into the mixture and stir well.

Add the baking soda: Slowly add the baking soda, a little at a time, to prevent the mixture from bubbling too much. Stir until everything is well integrated.
Optional: Add scent: If you want a scented soap, add drops of your favorite essential oil (such as lavender, lemon, or eucalyptus) and mix well.
Let cool: allow the mixture to cool completely. Once it cools, you’ll see that the soap has thickened a bit.
Package: Transfer homemade soap to bottles or jars with lids for storage.
How to use:
This soap is great for cleaning surfaces, washing clothes, or even as a liquid hand soap. Shake it before use if it settles over time.
Bonus tip:
If you prefer a thicker consistency, you can reduce the amount of water or add more grated soap. For a thinner soap, simply adjust the amount of water.
