Aspirin is a popular drug. However, it can happen that you have it at home and forget about it, going well beyond the expiration date.

In these cases, you can reuse it, instead of throwing it away. In fact, even if it is expired, it still contains substances that are very useful for plants.

Let’s see which ones and how to do it.

1. Growth stimulant: Dissolve aspirin in water, pour the mixture into a spray, and wet the affected plants and the soil that hosts them. Repeat the process for 3 weeks.
2. Seed germination: Dissolve half of an aspirin in water and use it to wet newly planted seeds.
3. Roots: To regenerate them, prepare a solution with water, half an aspirin and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Soak the cuttings in this solution for about half an hour before planting.
