Dandelion or Taraxacum officinale is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Asteraceae family that grows in all regions of the world.
Dandelion gets its name from its pointed leaves. In some places, dandelion leaves are eaten in salads and as it belongs to the same family as chicory, its roasted root has sometimes been used as a substitute for chicory, in the preparation of a coffee substitute.
If we focus on the medicinal use of this plant, both the flowering tope – that is, the aerial part – and the root of the dandelion constitute the medicinal part of this plant. Thank you for watching the video:https://youtu.be/pYdETvtFq64
