To start you need the seeds of about 5-10 lemons. The seeds must be whole and in good condition, and placed in a glass of clean water to hydrate them.

Discard any seeds that remain afloat, after a few minutes drain them and dry them with absorbent paper. Pour some moist potting soil into the cup, then place the seeds in a circular pattern that covers all of the potting soil.

Cover with a small layer of gravel and wait about 10-15 days, after which seedlings should appear. From now on, water every morning with a small bottle fitted with a spray diffuser.

If the seedlings are too close together, you can transplant them or remove one. Their growth is slow, and it will take them about 4 or 5 months to reach a size that requires transplanting.
