But what are the causes of limescale formation<\/strong> in the shower? This material is produced naturally as a result of the erosion of rocks during the passage of water from the mountain to the valley. The hardness of water is made up of the amount of calcium and magnesium salts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hotter the water, the greater the crystallization of lime<\/strong> which gives off a clearly visible white patina. The cause of limescale is the hardness of the water, with calcium and magnesium ions already present in it and which solidify when the temperature is very high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we have mentioned, it would be good not to use any products with added chemicals that can further damage the surfaces. That’s why we turn to natural remedies with citric acid<\/strong>, which can be purchased online or in specialized stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It only takes a few grams to remove limescale, combined with organic dishwashing detergent with natural ingredients and distilled water. How to do it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Pour 400 grams of distilled water<\/strong> into a container with a spray bottle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Add 100 grams of citric acid and 10 grams of organic dishwashing liquid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Close the cap and shake well so that all the ingredients are mixed and dissolved. Next, spray the mixture directly on the limescale in the shower and let it sit for 10 minutes before rinsing to remove any residue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
