Among the winter plants it is impossible not to mention the&nbsp;<strong>Christmas cactus<\/strong>. This is of particular beauty and is mostly a houseplant and has the characteristic of being quite long-lived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Christmas cactus is the common name for Schulumbergera Bridgesii and is a plant whose flowering occurs in the winter months. It does not require special exposure to light sources because it is a plant that adapts very well to the environment; Clearly its exposure to indirect sunlight will favor the appearance of flowers&nbsp;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a brightly colored succulent plant, which makes it particularly beautiful. Although it needs little care, it is important to emphasize that correct watering and good&nbsp;<strong>exposure<\/strong>&nbsp;to light and weather will allow this plant to be wonderful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Flowering tips<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can find this plant in different colors; in fact, the flowers can be purple, yellow, red, pink, white, and salmon-colored. The plant is already sold in full bloom and it is important in this case to move the&nbsp;plant&nbsp;to prevent the flowers from falling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In essence, however, only three actions need to be taken to get a perfect bloom. You have to minimize watering, put the Christmas cacti in a bright place, but away from sources of heat and direct sun. If the room is&nbsp;<strong>cool<\/strong>, the cactus will tend to stay in bloom longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.comestarbene.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/cactus-di-Natale.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-26865\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It should be noted that the plant needs to remain in the&nbsp;<strong>dark<\/strong>&nbsp;for twelve hours; to favor this need, the plant can be moved to a darkroom for the indicated time, for about six weeks. In this way, a more massive flowering can be noticed&nbsp;. The plant should remain completely dark and it is not recommended to even turn on the lights, even for a few minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.comestarbene.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/cactus-di-Natale-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32090\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After flowering,&nbsp;the plant should&nbsp;<strong>be allowed to rest<\/strong>&nbsp;for about two months, without even watering it. Only a few drops of water are advisable if the leaves or stems start to wilt.
