I’m sure you’ve also noticed how popular it has become lately to have a house full of candles.<\/strong> We are not talking about the classic ones to make light, but the scented ones with scents<\/strong> that not only beautify the rooms, but also give them a pleasant fragrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candles can be considered today as real decoration accessories and perhaps among the most natural trends that are good for the home and do not spoil the environment either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some are made with special fragrances and are used with an aromatherapeutic effect<\/strong>, i.e. to give relaxation and tranquility to the person inhaling the scent. While others are able to keep insects such as flies and mosquitoes away from our homes. In short, candles are always useful for any purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, what is the drawback that arises whenever we buy them? Obviously, the fact that they wear out. However, did you know that there are so-called eternal candles<\/strong>? They are the ones that never stop smelling. Here’s how you can make them at home, too, with just a few ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The candle that never stops smelling: here are the ingredients to make it<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Among the most fashionable and popular accessories of the moment are the candles that adorn the homes<\/strong> of many people. Protagonists of decoration and design, there are not only beautiful ones, but also super scented ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, when we buy candles we know that sooner or later <\/strong>they will end up being consumed \u2013 when the wax with which they are made wears out \u2013 and, above all, that they will stop smelling: their smell will become imperceptible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we told you, however, that there is a candle that never stops smelling, would you believe it? We’re talking about the definite eternal<\/strong>. You can make it at home with just a few ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curious about how? Well, let’s get started right away. First, you need the lime, which you can find at the grocery store or supermarket. With the help of a knife, cut at least four slices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a jar, which will later serve as the base for our candle (make sure it is strictly glass) pour three tablespoons of coarse salt and four slices of lime.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, add enough water to cover the file and finally a handful of cloves<\/strong>. Then also a few drops of lemon essential oil or your favorite fragrance (we recommend using citrus fragrances so that the pleasant smell lasts as long as possible).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, pour in a heaping tablespoon of cooking oil. Next, get a plastic cup<\/strong> and with the help of scissors cut the base. Using a screwdriver, poke a hole in the center of the plastic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take the wick of a candle<\/strong> that you are going to chop so that it is whole and insert it through the hole you have made in the bottom of the glass. Now place it in your glass jar, in which you have previously put salt, lime, olive oil and drops of essential oil.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
