How to propagate roses with a potato?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Experienced nurserymen<\/strong>  teach methods that are easy to implement, even for those who do not have the classic green thumb. The first thing to do to have endlessly beautiful roses is to take the cuttings, which will have a  length of about 20 cm.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 It is important<\/strong>  that the plant is mature and has flowered at least once in the past. The cutting should be done with shears, using a clean oblique cut. Before using any type of tool, it should be sanitized and sterilized with the help of denatured alcohol. There is no difference<\/strong>  in the variety of potatoes chosen, however it is better to choose fresh ones that do not have dark spots. The hole should be made in the centre of the potato, with a depth of about 2 cm (use a pencil to help you).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take the cutting and immerse it in the potato, using cinnamon, which helps in reproduction. Now is the time to take large pots and fill them with universal potting soil. The potatoes are planted  in the center of this soil, leaving the cutting part out of the ground. <\/strong> It is important to facilitate the growth of the seedling, perhaps with a plastic bag that contrasts the attack of heat and humidity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
