Did you know that it is possible  to reproduce roses with a potato<\/strong> ? It may seem strange to you but it is an  effective method recommended by nurserymen themselves.<\/strong>  It is also very simple and you don’t even need to have a so-called \u201c green thumb\u201d<\/em>  to be successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rose is the queen of flowers and everyone likes to surround themselves with them at home: we explain  how to reproduce them endlessly with a potato.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Are you ready to learn the  method that will allow you to reproduce roses with a potato<\/strong> ? This is what you should do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start  by cutting cuttings<\/strong>  about  20cm long. <\/strong> It is of fundamental importance that they are derived from a mature plant that has already flowered at least once. With a pair of  well-cleaned and disinfected <\/strong>scissors<\/strong>  , make a  clean, oblique cut<\/strong> , then put the  cuttings in a glass of water,<\/strong>  where they will remain until the potatoes needed to multiply them are ready. Take fresh potatoes and possibly without dark spots, then with the help of a  pencil, <\/strong>make a hole in the center<\/strong>  of them. Now  put the cut on the potato with the<\/strong>  help of a piece of  cinnamon. <\/strong> Pour some  universal soil<\/strong>  into fairly large pots and place the potatoes in the center , leaving the cuttings out of the ground.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong> <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To promote seedling growth and  counteract humidity and heat<\/strong> , cover it with a  plastic bag,<\/strong>  but remember  to remove it at least once a day<\/strong>  so that the cuttings can get air. You will see that  in a couple of weeks the roots will begin to sprout. <\/strong> The potato provides all the nutrition that seedlings need to develop and grow healthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The time has come to take care of the seedlings the right way. The  temperature<\/strong>  should  never drop below 20\u00b0<\/strong>  but  avoid direct sun. <\/strong> Make sure the  earth is always moist<\/strong>  but, to eliminate stagnant water, which would be harmful,  empty the saucers every day. <\/strong> When the plant has developed,  transplant it into the garden<\/strong>  or into a  pot of the right size.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
