The  bathroom<\/strong>  is one of the elements of the house that we use the most, so our goal is to always keep it  clean, disinfected and free of bad odors<\/strong>  . However, due to the accumulation of germs, moisture and other substances that come into contact with its surface, it is common  for limescale and dirt stains to form. <\/strong> This problem is usually caused by the buildup of calcium and other minerals in the water supply.<\/p>\n\n\n

Fortunately, with the following   5 home tricks<\/strong>  , you can  remove stubborn dirt and limescale from your toilet bowl<\/strong>  and keep it as white and clean as new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

White vinegar and lemon<\/h4>\n\n\n

The combination of white vinegar and lemon is the   most natural and ecological way to remove limescale<\/strong>  . It is quite useful as the natural acids in both ingredients easily remove lime deposits. You will need  1\/2 cup (125 ml) of white vinegar and lemon juice.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add lemon juice to half a glass of white vinegar and mix. Then  rub the mixture on the areas you want to clean. <\/strong>  To make the task easier, you can help yourself with a   sponge.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pumice<\/h4>\n\n\n

Another trick to clean the toilet is to use pumice stone, which is very useful for  removing stains that form in the bathroom<\/strong>  . Its  abrasive power eliminates limescale<\/strong>  and leaves the surface clean and shiny. All you have to do is soak the   stone in warm water<\/strong>  until it softens. When the pumice stone is soft, rub it on the areas where you notice the presence of limestone.  You can also immerse the stone in the vinegar and lemon solution previously prepared for the most stubborn stains<\/strong>  . You will see that the toilet will come back clean and shiny!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide<\/h4>\n\n\n

If you use this procedure instead, you will only need  \u00bd cup of baking soda<\/strong>   (100 g)   and two tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide<\/strong>  (20 ml). Moisten the baking soda with hydrogen peroxide,  resulting in a kind of paste<\/strong>  . Using a cloth or sponge, rub the paste against the walls of the toilet to clean stains and limescale. Leave on for  20 minutes<\/strong>   before rinsing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Optionally,  you can also add  <\/strong>lemon juice<\/strong>  for a  more powerful whitening effect.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coca<\/h4>\n\n\n

Coca Cola can help  remove limescale and stains<\/strong>  from the surface of the toilet, but to maximize the effect you should combine the drink with other products. You will need: a  can of Coca-Cola, a cup of white vinegar (250 ml) and three tablespoons of baking soda (30 g).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After having previously dried the toilet, pour the Coca Cola, being careful to pour it into the areas where the limestone is.  Leave on for 30 minutes<\/strong>  and brush. Then add the  white vinegar and baking soda<\/strong>  to the stains.  Wait 15 minutes<\/strong>  for them to act and rub again with a sponge. When you’re done, flush the toilet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
