In this article we will tell you about a mosquito trap that you can make yourself, defined as \u201cgenius\u201d, that will allow you to keep these annoying insects away in a natural and economical way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DIY mosquito trap<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is a guide to making your own mosquito trap:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Necessary materials:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 liter plastic bottle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>knives or scissors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hot water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Yeast<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take a 2 liter plastic bottle and cut off the top with a knife or scissors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour a glass of hot water into the bottle, then add half a glass of sugar and mix well until the sugar is completely dissolved.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Let the sugar water cool until lukewarm, then add 1\/2 teaspoon of yeast.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mix gently, then pour the mixture into the bottom of the cut bottle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place the top of the bottle upside down over the bottom, forming a sort of funnel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wrap the bottle in black paper or cardboard, leaving only the funnel uncovered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place the trap in a cool, wind-free place where there are many mosquitoes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How it works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mosquitoes will be attracted to the sweet smell of sugar water and fly to the bottle.
