Not only the bathroom tends to yellow over time, but also the  toilet seat<\/strong>  , on which it is easy  to see yellow stains<\/strong>  .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Usually, to  whiten and clean it,<\/strong>  we use some products available on the market, which contain  chemicals<\/strong>  and have a certain environmental impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But did you know, however, that it is  possible to clean the toilet seat and re-whiten it<\/strong>  using only  homemade and natural ingredients? <\/strong> Okay, yes! Let’s see together how to do it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sodium bicarbonate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The first remedy we suggest is to use the well-known  baking soda<\/strong>  , which is an ingredient that  has cleaning, degreasing and whitening properties<\/strong>  , making it suitable for removing yellow stains from the toilet seat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All you have to do is add  some baking soda to<\/strong>  a bowl and then  slowly pour in the water<\/strong>  until  you get a kind of pasty mixture.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, apply it on the tablet and   let it sit for about 20 minutes<\/strong>   before removing it. Finally, rinse and your toilet seat will be white again!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

percarbonato<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Similar to baking soda, but more effective and with a more powerful whitening action, is  sodium percarbonate<\/strong>  , considered an  ingredient that can also whiten clothes without using bleach.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, for its   whitening function<\/strong>   to be activated, it must be mixed   with hot water <\/strong> (temperatures must be at least 30\u00b0).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then spray the toilet seat with   a little percarbonate<\/strong>   and then moisten the area with a little hot water. Leave it on for   about 15\/20 minutes<\/strong>  and then rinse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alternatively, you can also   create a solution<\/strong>  by mixing the percarbonate with hot water and then pouring the resulting solution over the surface. Let it sit for a while, then scrub, rinse  and you’re done!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attention! <\/strong>  Do not confuse percarbonate with perborate, which instead has levels of toxicity for the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

lemon cake<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Obviously, when it comes to whitening and cleaning naturally, we cannot fail to mention  lemon<\/strong>  , known since our grandmothers for its ability to remove  yellow stains from clothes!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So why not use it in the bathroom? Then cut  a lemon<\/strong>  and use half of the lemon directly as if it were a natural sponge to wipe over the toilet seat. So let it sit for a while, time to work,  then rinse!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marseille soap<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There is no surface in the house that cannot be cleaned with  Marseille soap<\/strong>  , the ingredient with  very delicate cleaning properties.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this case, just add  a few flakes of this soap to a container<\/strong>  with warm water and dip  a sponge in it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, run it over  the surface of the toilet seat,<\/strong>  rub to make sure it degreases well, and let it sit. Finally, rinse and the  toilet seat will be perfectly clean.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vinegar, salt and lemon<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If your toilet seat is still not as clean as you would like, then here is the  cleaning mixture<\/strong>  , made up of several homemade ingredients:  vinegar, salt and lemon<\/strong>  . The three ingredients, in fact, have very effective cleaning and whitening properties that, when combined together, give rise to  a super cleansing mixture!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Then pour 200 ml of white vinegar<\/strong>   and the   juice of one lemon<\/strong>  into a saucepan, then bring everything to a boil and turn off the heat. At this point, add the salt to the pot, let it cool slightly and wet a   slightly abrasive sponge <\/strong>  in the solution thus obtained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, wipe it over the surface of the toilet seat and  goodbye yellow stains!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hydrogen peroxide<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Finally, here is a \u201cstronger\u201d remedy despite being totally ecological: hydrogen peroxide, which has a  high whitening power<\/strong>  .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, we recommend using  hydrogen peroxide at 130 volumes<\/strong>  for an optimal effect, always paying close attention and using protective gloves, a mask and protective glasses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then pour a little of this product on the surface of the toilet seat, then rub gently with a sponge. Then let it sit   for about 10 minutes<\/strong>  , then rinse thoroughly with water and dry with a cloth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
