As useful and practical as they are, so much so that they are considered a real revolution in the clothing industry,  zippers<\/strong>  have only one flaw: they often break easily and it seems almost impossible to repair them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is especially unpleasant if it is a zipper on a pair of pants, or perhaps a newly purchased jacket or bag. In these cases, it is always good to have an  instant repair trick<\/strong>  .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A  broken or stuck zipper<\/strong>  can be a real torture, but there are several solutions and we suggest the most effective ones below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Cursor that has left the chain<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Use pliers to hold the chain in place, while using a screwdriver to open the appropriate space on the slider into which the chain should pass. The opening should be small, just enough for the teeth of the chain to fit through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once both parts are inserted, lightly press the slider to join all the elements and fix them, then move it up and down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Extractor roto<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes, due to wear and tear, the handle, which is the metal piece that we grab to open the zipper, can break or come off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use a screwdriver to pry up the part that the handle is attached to, to insert a thin piece of fabric that will replace the handle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Stuck zipper<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A zipper can get stuck for a variety of reasons, but one trick that works in almost all cases is to put a little Vaseline or lip balm between the teeth of the zipper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This should be enough to unblock a stuck hinge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Teeth that have fallen out<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You need glue, a cotton swab and some scissors. Cut the plastic tube of the cotton swab into very small pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
