Here&#8217;s the kicker.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Geraniums are also preferred by those who don&#8217;t have a green thumb due to their ease of cultivation and bright colors, and are a must-have for the outdoors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Geraniums: characteristics and properties<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Geraniums, also known&nbsp;<strong>by the name Pelargonium<\/strong>, are considered the king of balcony plants. The motivation lies in the fact that they are easy to grow and resistant to different types of climate. Its origins lie in South Africa. It was precisely from that country that&nbsp;they&nbsp;<strong>were imported to Europe<\/strong>,&nbsp;where today they proliferate, especially in the Mediterranean area.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go.ezodn.com\/utilcave_com\/ezoicbwa.png\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"attachment_425480\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nanopress.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/gerani.jpg\" alt=\"Geraniums\" class=\"wp-image-425480\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are&nbsp;different&nbsp;<strong>species<\/strong>&nbsp;of geraniums and each is characterized by different colors and smells. Although it is notoriously simple to grow, you have to be careful to observe&nbsp;<strong>some precautions<\/strong>. The first has to do with the weather: be careful because intense cold is poorly tolerated. The minimum temperature is two degrees. Also pay attention&nbsp;to the&nbsp;<strong>exposure<\/strong>: it is better to place it in semi-shade and never in the shade as the bulbs could bloom halfway (branches with flowers and branches without). A position in full sun, especially in the middle of summer, would not be advisable as the flowers could burn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also pay attention to the soil: it should be well-drained. However, there are other valid tricks to proliferate your geraniums. You&#8217;ll find out what it is below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The trick to making them proliferate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To keep geraniums blooming all year round, you can observe two simple tricks. For the former, you&#8217;ll need&nbsp;<strong>the tincture of iodine<\/strong>,&nbsp;just the one that heals the wounds, along with a bottle of clean water. Add one drop of iodine tincture for every liter of water. The bottle will be shaken. Iodine helps prevent plant diseases. With the mixture obtained, the plant can be watered regularly, with 50\/100 ml at a time, in the part of the soil that borders the pot. Be careful not to overdo it with iodine as you could damage the root of the plant which would burn. Water and iodine can be given for a month, to be repeated periodically.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go.ezodn.com\/utilcave_com\/ezoicbwa.png\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another trick is to use&nbsp;<strong>an aspirin tablet.&nbsp;<\/strong>On the tablet, using a spray bottle, spray a little water to dissolve it. Dissolved aspirin should be placed in a liter of water. The contents must be shaken well for the medicine to dissolve. The salicylic acid contained in aspirin will allow plants to proliferate because it strengthens the roots.
