If properly protected, these objects can&nbsp;<strong>last many years and retain their original appearance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, almost all&nbsp;<strong>products to protect wood<\/strong>, such as paints, are loaded with chemicals and toxic substances. In this article, we list some&nbsp;<strong>natural alternatives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Linseed oil to protect wood<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This oil helps&nbsp;<strong>clean and nourish the wood<\/strong>, has water-repellent properties and is very effective in&nbsp;<strong>recovering the original colors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, thanks to its oiliness and other specific characteristics, it allows you to correct and hide any scratches that can&nbsp;<strong>damage the wood<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before applying it, make sure the surface is clean and dust-free. Apply a generous amount of linseed oil to a cloth and spread it over the entire surface until it is fully absorbed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With another clean cloth, dry the surface by removing excess oil, then let it dry for several hours. When applied once a month, this oil can give great results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Olive oil to revive wood<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Olive oil is another effective product for&nbsp;<strong>reviving wood<\/strong>&nbsp;which, over time, can fade, lose its shine and become dull.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mix a few drops of olive oil with the juice of half a lemon and a tablespoon of liquid Marseille soap.
