Materials<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  • 1 cup\u00a0baking soda.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 100 ml of liquid laundry soap.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 sachet or measure of chlorine-free bleach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Hot water.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • A large bucket or bathtub.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Procedure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Prepare the initial soaking:<\/strong>\u00a0Fill a large bucket or bathtub with hot water and dissolve the baking soda along with the liquid soap. Mix well until combined.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Dipping the tulle:<\/strong>\u00a0Dip the curtains into the mixture making sure they’re completely covered. Leave on for at least 6 hours. If the tulle is very stained, you can leave them overnight.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Moving the tulle from time to time:<\/strong>\u00a0From time to time, remove the curtains with your hands to help loosen any accumulated dirt. You will notice how the water begins to darken.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Rinse thoroughly:<\/strong>\u00a0After the soaking time, remove the curtains and rinse them with plenty of clean water to remove any soap residue and dirt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Machine wash:<\/strong>\u00a0Schedule a hot water wash (maximum 60\u00b0C) using your usual detergent and add the non-chlorine bleach in the corresponding compartment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Proper drying:<\/strong>\u00a0To avoid new stains, hang the tulle in an airy space but without direct exposure to the sun.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Tips for maintaining white tulle<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      • Wash the curtains at least once a month to prevent dust from gathering.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • If the tulle is very yellowish, you can repeat the soaking process before the final wash.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
