After all, as soon as the good weather returns, insects are ready to invade the garden and unfortunately also the terraces and houses. However, buying chemical insecticides is not always a good idea. You will need 500 ml of water<\/strong>, 500 ml of witch hazel<\/strong> (which you can find in herbalists), 10 drops of spearmint<\/strong> and peppermint essential oils (for ants). Next, you’ll need a vaporizer, preferably made of glass. The first thing to do is to fill the sprayer with half a liter of water. Then add the witch hazel. Add 5 drops of each essential oil<\/strong>. Shake the mixture well and spray directly on the plants. You will see that insects, such as ants, will flee immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This homemade spray is therefore adaptable to any type of pest.<\/strong> Indeed, against each insect, there is an effective mixture of essential oils. Simply change the essential oils in the recipe above. For example, against aphids, the essential oils to use are: cedar, fennel, spearmint, peppermint. Against beetles: peppermint and thyme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If fleas are tormenting you, use peppermint, lemongrass, spearmint, and lavender. Are flies your pet peeve? Use lavender, peppermint, rosemary, and sage. Against gnats, mix patchouli and spearmint.
